REPORT ON FRESHER’S PARTY (Novato Fiesta)

The fresher’s party which was held on the 30^th September 2019 in the auditorium  of HNIMR which was organized by the Cultural heads – Jai Mithare, Shradha Jamdar and Rekha Singh, Supriya  Sonkusre with the help of the other student Council Members and Volunteers. The Cultural Faculty – Prof. Geeta Jadhav, Prof. Manasi Javadekar and Prof. Priyanka Potdar, Dr. Archan Pradhan assisted us in organizing the event.

It was a themed based party and the theme for the evening was ‘’Indowestern’’ We were joined by our Director – Dr. Jagdish Pol and faculty in welcoming the ‘juniors’.

It started with a bang, with the cake-cutting ceremony after which all the fresher’s were seated, and the compeer of the night – Shradha Jamdar and Rekha Singh took over.

After the warm welcome, the day began with a ramp walk by the Juniors for the title of ‘Miss Fresher’ who were judged by  Miss Universe Mrs. Pallavi Koushik and Corporate Mrs. Sharmila Apte the corporate and Mrs. Pallavi Gadgil (owner of Pallavi Creations ). The full day was filled with incredible solo and group performances put up by the Seniors and Juniors. However the performance of the day was the one put up by the Student Council Members. They performed committee wise and there was a group performance as well which was enjoyed by one and all present. The Council members rocked!

In between these performances the girls competing for the ‘Miss Fresher’ title were shortlisted on the basis of their talents and the question and answer round. The judges Mrs. Pallavi Koushik, Mrs. Sharmila Apte and Mrs.Pallavi Gadgil finally crowned ‘Miss Diksha Meghani   as ‘Miss Fresher 2019’.  Shivani Ghavate,  Stuti Kothale were selected as runner up for this competition. The best personality as per the theme, was awarded to Miss Anuja Desale.

The rest of the Day, Games and DJ   was played good music which kept students on their toes. All the students present danced to every beat and enjoyed to the core.

After all the dancing everyone was exhausted. Food was delicious. The desert at the end completed the meal. Everyone left the premises happy and contented.
