Student’s participation in Jagriti Yatra

Ms. Sharvari Hole, MBA I student is selected for “Jagriti Yatra’.
Jagriti Yatra is an ambitious train journey of discovery and transformation that takes hundreds of ISharvaro Hole – Tata Jagruti Yatrandia’s highly motivated youth, especially those who are from small towns and villages of India, on a 15 day, 8000 km national odyssey to meet the role models – social and business entrepreneurs – of the country. The vision of Jagriti is ‘building India through enterprise’.

Kushagra 2013 (Ignite Illuminate Inspire)

The institute has succeeded in carving its niche in the premium management Kushagra 2013institutes with the success of Kushagra. Kushagra is the inter-collegiate management event of Hiraben Nanavati Institute of Management and Research for Women. ‘Kushagra’ i.e. intelligence is a perfect platform for budding professionals to explore their talent, share their intellect and reveals the empire of knowledge. It facilitates the future managers to exhibit their creativity, using their logical, analytical and presentation skills.

Fresher’s party – 2013

Like every year HNIMR organized a sumptuous freshers’ welcome party for the batch 2013-15. Aptly called ‘Freshers’ Party’, the purpose of this event was to make every fresher feel an integral part of the HNIMR family & to prepare the student to take on challenges for the year.

Dahi handi – 2013

‘Dahi Handi’ event was organized in the Institute on 29th Aug 2013. Around 200 students from MBA 1st year and MBA 2nd year participated in the event.

We arranged ‘Rangoli competition’ to encourage creativity of students. The theme was IMG_3757‘Janmashtami’. Students innovatively made the beautiful ‘Rangolis’. In this tough competition ‘Preeti Patil’ from 1st year batch was winner.

Wealth of hnimr – 2013

HNIMR encourages intellectual curiosity, open minds and innovation among its students, thus broadening their horizon. HNIMR students know, learn and master the exciting process of creation of wealth that brings prosperity and well-being to millions of people. The institute is proud of its alumnae who have reached great heights in the corporate world.

WealthofHNIMRAs a part of Industry-Academic interface and placement support, HNIMR have organized an event, called “WEALTH OF HNIMR” on 31st Aug. 2013. The event was attended by the second year MBA students and various faculty members of the institute. The basic aim of the event is to provide a platform to the present MBA senior students to interact with the past students of the institute.

Brain triggers – quiz competition 2013

The Cocurricular Cell initiated with a Quiz Competition for MBA Srs. on 24th Aug. 2013. The Quiz Competition was conducted in three Rounds. Round I – Objectives related to the respective specialization. 18 highest scorer students were selected, grouped into 6 groups of 3 team members each who moved to Round II. Round II was an extempore Round where in, extempore on coBQuiz1ncepts related to Sem I and Sem II were dealt with. The students were judged on the Conceptual Clarity, Creativity and Spontaneity. The top 3 teams then moved to Round III. Round III was a Rapid Fire Round based on General Knowledge. The finalists – Amruta KAdam (Fin.), Sonam Khandre (Fin.) and Shruti Lunkad (Mktg.) were awarded a set of books named “Word Power Made Easy” and “Kartya Karvitya”. The runners were awarded the Participation Certificate.

Orientation programme for mba first year students – 2013

HNIMR has successfully conducted orientation programme for MBA Jr. Students on 25th July 2013 with warm welcome given by GS Afreena and VIdula. Students’ parents were also present for the orientation programme. Dr. Bharati Dole, Director-HNIMR explained the background of Samstha and significance of new MBA syllabus. She also briefed students on expectations of industry from MBA students and urged students to prepare themselves. Dr. Mukund Tapkir, HOD-Research Centre, HNIMR informed students about ongoing mentoring activity in the institute and its importance in addressing students’ academic issues through their respective mentors.

Book bank facility for students

HNIMR Library issues 4 books to students in book bank facility scheme for all the four semesters. Students can return the books at the end of each semester after the exams are over.

Students can borrow the following material against their identity-card

  • 1 audio-visual
  • 1 journal/magazine

Apart from regular transactions, students can also get issued 2 books/journals for reference for one day. (This facility is available during the library working hours)
